Removing motor pinion
Before turning sprocket retaining nut, we flatten the lock washer with an appropriate pointer.
Using a suitable tool to hold the gear (eg a piece chain and a lever), loosen the nut, bearing in mind that the thread is reversed. A good option is to use a pneumatic gun for this purpose.
Remove the nut and lock washer.
With a proper extractor removed the motor pinion.
not forget to retrieve the key from the shaft.
