motor pinion motor output - On Dismantling motor
Removal on
Loosen the nut from the flywheel. Note that the nut screw is reversed. For this you can hold the flywheel with an appropriate tool, or by placing a piston stop by the thread of the plug to lock the crankshaft, but the ultimate tool is a pneumatic gun.
To remove the flywheel from the crankshaft to use a suitable puller, metric 27 and step 125. Threading the extractor at the plate and a pair of keys we press the center screw until it loosens the plate.
If the plate is nailed to the shaft and is difficult to remove, we can deliver a blow with a soft hammer in screw, when the hood is to loosen tension. If that does not help, there's always the appeal of the pneumatic gun, which at the same time tapping will turn so that at the end get loose.
removed the magnetic plate to access the stator, taking care to retrieve the key from the crankshaft. The best way not to lose it stick it inside the plate, taking advantage of its magnetism.
Before removing the stator we disconnect the electrical wires of the strip. Should be taken note of how they are connected to taken into account in the assembly operation.
Loosen and remove the three safety screws that secure the stator to the housing, but not before marking the relative position of the stator with respect to housing, to facilitate subsequent installation in the exact same point, although it is always advisable, taking advantage of the dismantling of the stator, readjust the spark advance and not rely on the position that it will take before removal.
